Charlie Baker Honored as Champion for Children

Charlie Baker, President and CEO of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care (HPHC) was named Children’s Friend and Family Services’ Champion for Children at the Boston Marriott Copley Place on Monday, May 7th. The inaugural event featured a cocktail reception, dinner and address by Baker.

“We are thrilled to be honoring Charlie for his outstanding work, both through Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and in public service, to help strengthen children, families and communities here in the Commonwealth,” said Event Chairman Larry Zabar, Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of the New England Council. “We admire Charlie’s vision and energy and are grateful that he addressed our constituents at the debut of our signature event and accepted the honor of being named Children’s Friend and Family Services’ Champion for Children.”
