Juvenile Court Services

Children’s Friend has been providing court clinic services for the Essex County Juvenile Court since 1997. The Court Clinic services Lynn, Lawrence, Newburyport and Salem Juvenile Courts. A highly trained staff of social workers, mental health counselors, and psychologists provides consultations and court-ordered diagnostic and forensic evaluations. The Court Clinic provides training for court personnel; including judges, clerks, attorneys, and probation staff as well as other service providers who interface with the juvenile court. The Court Clinic is also involved with many collaborative efforts and is dedicated to improving the quality and access to services throughout Essex County and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
