The CFFC staff consists of Care Managers, who are mental health professionals, and Family Partners who have personal experience as caretakers of children with emotional or behavioral challenges. We also have a psychopharmacologist, who provides expertise on medication. All of our staff is trained in the theory and practice of Wraparound care planning. Most of the staff of Lawrence CFFC speaks both English and Spanish.
Melissa Audier is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Connecticut College and a Master of Social Work degree from Salem State College. Melissa has over fifteen years of experience in working with children and families in outpatient clinics, residential settings, foster care case management, clinical supervision and running parenting groups.
She has been at Children’s Friend for six and a half years. For the past year she has been co-managing the Coordinated Family Focused Care (CFFC) wraparound program for children with serious emotional disturbance residing in Lawrence, MA. She has also been a clinician at the Haverhill office with experience working with both children and adults, families, parents, consulting to a teen boys group home and clinical supervision.
Melissa co-manages the program with Jack Simons, Vice President of Program Planning and Evaluation.
