Sue joined Children’s Friend in September of 1988 and is the Director of the Teen Parent Program located at Salem High School. She has over 20 years of experience in the child care profession. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Lesley College and a Master of Education from Salem State College. Sue supervises the Teen Parent Program in collaboration with the Salem Public Schools and serves as a liaison between the agency and community resources to provide services for pregnant and parenting teens. Sue is a member of the Salem Public Schools Health Advisory Committee, North Shore Teen Parent Providers Coalition, Salem Early Childhood Community Partnership and the Northeast Fathers and Families Network.
The Early Childhood Professional Staff of the Teen Parent Program include Anita Cote and Michele Dragonis.
Anita joined the Teen Parent Program in 1992. She is certified by the Department of Early Education and Care as an Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Lead Teacher. Anita has also earned her Child Development Associate Credential.
Michele joined the staff of the program in 2005. She is certified by the Department of Early Education and Care as an Infant, Toddler and Preschool Teacher. Both Anita and Michele bring their wealth of experience and knowledge to the program to make it a successful and supportive environment for teen parents and their children.
